Crash landed on planet weird

Dorian sat in the locker room a moment lost in his own thought 'competition.' he repeated in his head. The hand that rested on his thigh clenched into a fist. Who did that guy think he was. "Competition" he spat out loud again. He stood up and finished dressing before leaving the locker room in a more sour mood than before.

Yogi had stalked closer to Laun, who had quickly backed away until she was cornered against the wall. "But if you wanted to take a little detour, say just you and me. I wouldn't be against it." He rested his arm above her against the wall, trapping his little fox.

Laun glared at the man, he made her nervous but she didn't like being stuck in a corner like that. "Why don't you just back off. I'm clearly not interested."

Yogi covered his heart with his hand and chuckled, not fazed by her words, "Ouch little princess. Those are cold words."

As soon as Dorian left the locker room her saw Laun in an almost compromising position. He moved over to the pair and shoved the man back. "She said she's not interested." His eyes narrowed into a glare as he moved to stand between laun and this new predator.

Yogi looked away irritated, "oh boo. Your here." He knew he wouldn't have another chance with Laun while the dark haired guy was hanging about. "Guess we should go then." He turned to lead the way.

Laun eyed yogi suspiciously while he lead them, keeping beside Dorian, who seemed to be able to keep the wild man back. "Why do we get stuck with such a guy." She mumbled to herself.

Abbilyn had followed them silently the whole time. Being dead she was use to just observing things. "Seems interesting to me."

Dorian didn't let his eyes leave the man's back. He shoved his hands into his pockets and side harshly, trying to calm himself down. "Why are you our escort?" He asked, partially dreading the man's answer.

yogi stopped in front of a door and entered a code into a keypad. The door slide up to reveal a large garage like area with a few broken down ships. He turned to Dorian to answer, "I just wanted to meet my new captain. And his lovely lady." He winked at Laun.

Laun slid a little behind Dorian, trying to avoid the man's penetrating stare. She didn't like that he had said captain. What was that suppose to mean?

Dorian stopped as the man mentioned the word captain. Too shocked at the idea to even notice how in poor shape the ships actually were. "I never agreed to take a passenger." He looked past Yogi into the garage finally noticing how much work he actually had cut out for him. He frowned and ran his fingers through his still damp hair, he had definitely gotten the shit end of the stick.

Yogi watched the man and said quietly so none of the workers that were in the room could over hear. "They never agreed to let you have a ship. So maybe you should reconsider if you'd like to get off this planet." He left the man to think about it and walked into the room, waving at one of the guys.

Laun looked around at all the ships then up at Dorian who seemed a little stressed. Having the creep come with them wasn't ideal but if it was the only way of the planet they might not have a choice. "What do you think?

Dorian nodded slightly at Yogi's words, albeit dissatisfying. He moved back over to laun and shrugged. "I don't know." His eyes traveled over the wreckage again. "I guess there's nothing we can actually do but work." His gaze made it's way back over to Laun, he really had no idea what she could do to help him. "What are you going to do then?"

Laun shrugged, "I didn't think I gave them the impression that I knew how to do any of this. I guess I could help with the small stuff, moving things and such. But it looks like you have a lot of men to help."

Dorian nodded. "Yeah true." He moved slightly closer to her and placed his hands on his shoulder, he leaned down to be eye level "Then just do whatever, just stay close." He gave a small look of worry, he didn't know if Yogi would be back or what else he might try. He pulled away and used his thumb to point to the mess. "You know where to find me." He turned and moved over to one of the ships and began to inspect it to figure out exactly what was wrong with it.

Laun nodded her head at him, just didnt like his new bossy attitude but she also didnt want to deal with that yogi guy. She wondered around the room looking at stuff not really sure what to do.

Yogi finished talking to the guys then made his way back over to Dorian. "I don't know much about these things but we believe this shit would be the easiest to fix. Since its the most complete."

Dorian looked over at him. He was a little more relaxed than how he was this morning. "A couple of these are salvageable. But I really can't tell you anything without seeing what kind of parts we're looking at." He patted the dusty ship. "Just cause its whole doesn't mean it'll be easy"

"Hm." Yogi studied the ship for a moment as if he was trying to figure it out before shrugging. "unfortunately no one knows how to handle technology like this on this planet. If you hadn't noticed they are a little...outdated." Yogi himself had been stuck on this planet for over six months with no way off. He hoped a traveling ship would have came by sooner but it didn't seem like this place was the most popular tourist stop.

Dorian listened as he moved under to where the ships engine would be. He took off the cover and began sifting through the parts. The ship was a little different than his own but nothing he couldnt manage to fix. He worked around the engine a moment before pulling back slightly and looking over at the tiger. "I think I can use my old engine."

Yogi had sent troops out to fetch the engine from their crashed ship. With all the parts they managed to salvage from all the ships it looked like they were going to be able to fix one. It wouldn't be in the best working condition but at least it would get them to a planet who would have better parts.
It took almost a week to complete the repair and get the ship running. They had just finished a short test drive by turning it on.

Laun hadn't done much during the week, having no knowledge of repairing anything. She did manage to get herself in a few troubling moments, one being when she almost knocked one of the ships over on top of the troops that were assisting Dorian and Yogi. After that she had been sent off to help with the women of the kingdom doing mostly small chores like cleaning and cooking. Of course she had also managed to burn the kitchen down and flood the laundry room. The last few days of the repair she had been strictly instructed to stay in the room they had the two staying in. She ignored that and decided to just stick around Dorian and bug him. Everyone could tell that having to deal with her made fixing the ship all the more harder.

Finally the ship was done and Laun hopped off the wing from another ship she had been perched on. Excited to get out of this boring place.

Yogi wiped the sweat off his brow with a rag and sat down exhausted. He hadn't had much sleep while assisting Dorian. Though he had to admit the man was truly gifted with ships.

Dorian plopped down beside Yogi satisfied with the work they were able to accomplish. He was the happiest with being able to get his old engine in the aircraft. It would be almost as good as his old ship. Almost. He looked over to the man and smiled "First thing I'm getting once we're out of this place is a beer." He looked over at Laun whom he could tell couldn't wait to get out of here. He stood again and wiped the grime off his hands onto his pants. "I'll let them know that we're done."

Yogi smirked at the girl, "I'll keep an eye on the trouble maker then." He was more cautious about hitting on the girl since the last time he had tried she had hit him somewhere truely unpleasant. What had happened to the innocent girl from the bath?

Laun stuck her tongue out at him and crossed her arms. Its not like she didn all that stuff on purpose. Bad luck just seemed to follow her around.

During their time there Dorian had the layout of the building down. He made his way to Hazi's office and explained the situation and was given permission to leave. But not without a letter that Dorian would be required to deliver once they landed at their destination. He tucked the letter into his pockets and headed back to the garage.

Laun had already made herself comfortable inside the ship. She had chosen to site on the left back seat and had her seat belt buckled. The sooner they got out of here the better!

Dorian looked around the ship wondering where Laun had run off too. He couldn't help but to chuckle at the fact that she had already taken her spot in the ship. He looked to Yogi "Do you have all of your belongings?" He moved over and climbed up onto the wing and took his spot as captain.

Yogi held his bag up to answer Dorian’s question then slipped it onto his shoulder as he climbed into the ship and took his seat next to Laun. He snapped his seat belt into place and put his bag onto the ground next to his feet.

Laun noticed the man climb on, not saying a word. It seemed strange to her but she figured he was just afraid of flying. She leaning over, wanting him to feel better, “Dorian’s a really good pilot.”

Yogi was jerked out of thought by the girl and turned to give her a half hearted smile. “Thanks.” He looked away again, guilt tightening in his stomach. But he had no choice but to accept the deal that was given to him.

The engine finally roared to a start and Dorian leaned back into his seat, satisfaction written all over his face. He knew it would start due to the test runs but actually taking it out to fly, actually breaking through the atmosphere and then the gravitational pull was totally different. There was nothing about flying that Dorian didn't love.

The residents of the planet opened up the hangar doors and Dorian was able to take the ship out on the runway. With a few more flicks of the switches the ship finally took to the air and the one massive garage turned into a speck in the distance as they transcended into the sky.

Laun looked out of the windows in excitement while they rose up and broke into outer space. This was the first time she had been out and actually had the time to enjoy the view. It was amazing. There were stars everywhere, scattered like rain in the skies.

Yogi pulled out of his brooding and looked up also enjoying the view. He decided to make light conversation, “So you guys are being chased huh? It seems weird that they haven’t showed up so far. Do you think they are waiting out here?”

Dorian shrugged. That idea had crossed his mind but so far he had refused to actually acknowledge it. "It's a possibility." He tapped the radar with his knuckles "But this hasn't picked anything up so far." with the rapping of his knuckles on the dash his communication device chimmed in with an incoming call.

Dorian stared at a moment, hesitant to answer but relaxed when he saw who the call was coming from.

"Dorian!! Ah, I'm so glad to see that you're okay!" His sister's image flickered on the screen. She leaned into the camera in an attempt to see the passengers who were seated in the back. "Who's the new guy?" She frowned and arched an eyebrow looking to her brother for an answer but quickly waving her hand. "Nevermind, I don't care." She sighed, her shoulders dropping as a smile grew on her lips. "I'm glad to see you're doing okay... where are you headed to now?"
